Grandparents, like heroes, are as necessary to a child’s growth as vitamins.”
The day is observed to celebrate the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. They not only love you more than your parents but also teach you some of the most important lessons about life.
Grandparents and children have a special connection that is proven to both, make grandparents live longer and also make children emotionally resilient. It has been a tradition at Manaskriti School to celebrate Grandparent’s Day as it gives us an opportunity to treasure that connection and spend some quality, family time together.
The motive behind this day’s celebration is to honour grandparents for all the sacrifices they make for their families and also to create awareness among the children of the moral support, information and guidance they can offer.
Today’s celebration of grandparents day was indeed a heart touching experience for us. The entire family got together for this wonderful program.
A special thanks to the Principal Maam (Ms. Jyoti Bhalla), our Anmol head (Ms. Nidhi Seghal ) and the teachers.
