The afternoon at Manaskriti adorned the colours of our national flag as the children got ready for the dual celebration, the 74th Republic Day of India and the Founder’s Day of Manaskriti School, to commemorate the birth anniversary of our founder, Shri. Nikunj Lohia ji, whose vision brough about the campus of Manaskriti.
The celebrations began with the arrival of our principal mam’ Ms. Jyoti Bhalla, who first, paid her respect and gratitude to shri. Nikunj Lohia ji which was followed by a brief update of the awards and honours achieved by Manaskriti, by Ms. Vijaya Sethi, our headmistress. The highlights were the most innovative school award won by the school and the most innovative principal award won by our respected principal this year at the national excellence award 2023. This was followed by the unfurling of the national flag by our principal tailed by short but spirited performance of patriotic songs and pyramid formation by the sports club students.
The program came to an end with the award function which began with the Manaskriti tradition of giving pens to class V students as they begin their new journey of writing with pen. All other students who had won awards at various competitions over the year were felicitated. The speech by principal mam encouraged the young minds to rise and excel and not scare away from being different for bringing about a positive change in the society. She also stressed on the need for all to do away with violence and rage and train the mind to persevere and remain peaceful in all situations.
Wishing everyone a peaceful year ahead and with the spirit of national integrity and patriotism let us all say- Jai Hind Jai Bharat!
A very happy Republic day to all!
