Safer Internet Day

Students of grade 4 Vayu celebrated Safer Internet Day in today’s assembly. Safer Internet Day is a global event to promote a safer and better internet for all. The program started with the importance of cyber safety which was highlighted with the thought of the day that gave the message of PROTECT, DETECT and RESPOND

The latest initiatives taken globally to ensure a safe online experience were shared in the Tech News. 

Students learnt about different key terms related to internet safety. Practices that can help users stay safe and the things to avoid while using the internet were shared by the participants.

A cyber safety poem was performed, followed by an introduction to the approach of internet safety, Cyber SMART. A quiz was also hosted to test the knowledge of students on internet safety.

The assembly concluded with the message ABC- Always Be Careful and emphasised on the need to be responsible while using the internet.
