Grade 3 Explores Sound with a DIY Telephone Activity!

Grade 3 students had an exciting hands-on learning experience as they created their own telephones using paper cups and string. Each child carefully assembled their device by poking a small hole in the bottom of two cups, threading a string through, and securing it with knots.

With the string stretched tight, they took turns speaking and listening, discovering how sound vibrations traveled along the string. Their excitement grew as voices carried through their homemade phones, sparking curiosity and laughter.
